Would you like to try calligraphy?
You can:
● learn the basic usage of writing on hanshi -Japanese traditional paper- using bokuzyuu – traditional Japanese ink. ● learn the origins of Japanese hiragana, katakana, and kanji characters.
● Write your name using the letters of your choice.
● watch the performance of a professional calligrapher.
● take the completed work home with you.
● purchase art works by professional calligraphers.
The experience includes green tea and Japanese sweets. Since they are authentic ones, you can also enjoy a small tea ceremony experience.

◆体験の流れ◆
①20 minutes: Explanation of calligraphy tools and the origin of Japanese letters.
②30 minutes: Calligraphy experience I. Choose your favorite characters and write them.
③30 minutes: Tea time. Enjoy matcha (green) tea with sweets. You can also view the teacher’s work during the break.
④30 minutes: Calligraphy experience II. Write your name in the characters you like and create a work of art.
